This is not a ticket.

Between 1 and 5 a.m. on June 6, 2026, the day after SNVRKOLEPSY came out, SNVRK put orange envelopes on parked cars across Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO, from the SNVRK Department, with a code to the album.

He puts the count at 100,000. The idea, he says, came from the dial cards he handled reading meters for Con Edison. He calls it offline to online: the city is the medium, and the internet is where it lands.

Canarsie, Opium, the Ticketstorm and the courtroom: the story so far, in order.

  1. Canarsie, Brooklyn

Caleb Gottfried is born on September 16. He grows up between the New York swag era and the early internet: Vine, SoundCloud, GTA V.

  2. First releases

SNVRK starts releasing music. By the end of 2023, at 17, he has a deal.

  3. Interscope / Opium

Signed to Interscope Records and Opium, Playboi Carti's label, from December 2023 to May 2024. He has said what happened there became SNVRKOLEPSY: an album about betrayal, waking up and cultural disruption.

  4. SNVRKOTICS

He starts SNVRKOTICS, his own label and company. Today he records on SNVRKOTICS / AWGE, alongside the A$AP Mob.

  5. 33 HRS

The lead single, with Funk Flex. The video is shot on Pier 5 in Brooklyn and ends on the parking tickets.

  6. SNVRKOLEPSY

The debut album: eleven tracks, 27 minutes, produced by Godzay with SNVRK, released through SNVRKOTICS.

  7. The Ticketstorm

Between 1 and 5 a.m., orange envelopes that read THIS IS NOT A TICKET land on windshields in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO.

  8. Gottfried v. Night Media

SNVRK files suit himself, without a lawyer, in the Southern District of New York (No. 1:26-cv-05471), over the Streamer University auditions at John Jay College. The complaint alleges crowd-safety and right-of-publicity claims; he was granted in forma pauperis status. The allegations have not been tested, and no defendant has been found liable.
